The first joint project was realized directly in the sensitive area of IT security: WWK decided to utilize the NTS Defense Platform as a Service. By using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), this Managed Service allows for real-time detection of threats and therefore significantly increases the IT security situation of the business.
State-of-the-art infrastructure
Within the framework of further collaboration, the server landscape of WWK has been modernized with Cisco UCS servers. Subsequently, a highly available NAS storage based on NetApp MetroClusters have been implemented in the WWK data center. Two redundantly designed data centers that are located in different fire compartments ensure maximum reliability and data protection.
Reliability in the operation – Managed Services by NTS
In the field of virtualization, WWK relies on the services of NTS. As part of a 24/7 Managed Service (link), the operational safeguarding for the VMware infrastructure was completely transferred to NTS. Remarkable: NTS is the first service provider that was entrusted by WWK with the operation of a Managed Service – a clear sign that the trust has grown.

In addition to the Defense Platform, NTS has also supplied and implemented firewalls from Palo Alto Networks within the framework of the security strategy. This is a further element towards the protection of the WWK infrastructure at the highest level.
