“We were faced with a long overdue tech refresh of our IT infrastructure. SKIDATA relied on an overall concept with the leading manufacturers Cisco, Netapp and Commvault for the realignment of the data center infrastructure. “I see a big plus especially in the management, because it has made the administration of our infrastructure extremely simple,” explains Burgstaller. “NTS promised us a one-stop solution, including service and support, and delivered it. At the end of the day, we got exactly what made sense and worked.”

Modernising Lan and wlan infrastructures

The modernization of the Cisco LAN and WLAN infrastructure is considered an important cornerstone for SKIDATA’s further growth. In addition to a highly available IT infrastructure with maximum bandwidth, integrated network security secures the authentication of users as a supervisory measure – before they access the LAN or WLAN network. These technologies are now used not only at the headquarters in Grödig and the newly moved in office building in the WTC, but also at many locations around the world. As a powerful data backup solution, Commvault rounds off the overall package and provides an easy-to-administer platform with end-to-end backup workflows and transparent reporting processes.
