The 100% owner-managed PKE Group with its headquarters in Vienna and 6 further branches throughout Austria has been active for over 40 years as a general contractor for the complete equipment of road tunnel systems as well as traffic control centers and is one of the leading European suppliers in this field. In its business areas, PKE acts as a system integrator and offers turnkey solutions. Maintaining high standards with corresponding quality demands requires strong partners, and so it came about that PKE relied on the know-how and expertise of Cisco and NTS for the network technology of its unique “World of Experience – Showroom”.

Sustainable technology with a high-performing network

Future-proof technology and short latency times for live streaming were the PKE Group’s requirement for the new showroom. The network structure was equipped with PoE to keep the effort for installation and possible conversions of network devices as low as possible. “We have a long technological and performance partnership with NTS that we can count on. Due to the required bandwidth for the multimedia technology of our new showroom, our goal was very ambitious and fortunately we relied on the right partner,” describes Christian Ernst, Executive Assistant at PKE.
