3 data centers with the highest security standards

When it comes to IT, NTS relies on its many years of expertise in the network and data center sector. With the latest Cisco technologies, IKB not only has a stable network, but can also provide its customers with a highly secure infrastructure including all-round monitoring. This means that IKB customers can operate their servers worry-free without having to provide the necessary infrastructure in-house. The most modern of 3 data centers is located in the west of Austria and is operated with its own hydroelectric power plant for power generation and supply.

Trust connects

Thomas Stotter, Head of the Telecommunications Department of the Innsbrucker Kommunalbetriebe (municipal operations of the city of Innsbruck) explains more precisely: “As a municipal company, we are thinking in long-term periods. For us, it is not a priority to have quick returns, but we have reliability and long term projects in our DNA.” One hundred years from now, we still want to be available for the business location and for the people thanks to our innovations.

This thinking is also reflected in the partnership with NTS. Both companies have been in a business relationship since early 2000, which is well before the opening of the NTS location in Innsbruck, but these days nobody can recall how they found each other back then.

It is therefore not surprising that they regularly exchange technical information and discuss assessments with the professionals at NTS – always on an equal footing, of course. Stotter: “And everyone at NTS that I have known since the beginning has made their way, but is still with us.
