NTS @ Cisco Live 2024
Let’s go!
This year’s Cisco Live 2024 in Amsterdam was all about artificial intelligence (AI). Cisco presented numerous new solutions and partnerships at its most important technology event in Europe. The company exhibited how much AI plays an important role across its entire portfolio. Over 14,000 visitors took part in the event from the 6th – 8th of February, 2024.

Oliver Tuszik, President EMEA at Cisco, welcomes the audience in his keynote speech and then lists the questions that are currently of most concern to Cisco customers:
- How do we upgrade our infrastructure for this new world?
- How do we stay secure in the new world?
- How do we create the best collaboration experience?
- And how do we leverage all of this for the digital transformation?
These questions and their answers shaped the following talks. The focus was clearly on the application of AI. Tuszik emphasized the corresponding use and expansion of AI in the Cisco portfolio in order to master the challenges of AI and to how to use it in the most innovative and effective way.
“If it is connected, it must be protected,” is how Jonathan Davidson, EVP and General Manager, Cisco Networking, sums up the topic of network security. One key to this is the Cisco Networking Cloud, an AI-supported, platform-driven solution for network complexity, observability and security.
Why hack in … when you can simply login? The Cisco Security Cloud also continues to innovate with AI to provide a unified, AI-driven, cross-domain security platform. This includes new AI-based analysis functions for threat detection, such as Cisco Identity Intelligence, as well as the recently introduced Cisco AI-Assistant for Security.
The topic of sustainability was not neglected during the keynote. Adele Trombetta, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Customer Experience in EMEA, spoke about Cisco’s plan to invest more in solar panels and to cover all of Cisco Europe’s energy requirements with solar energy in the course of the next 15 years.

Ahoy at the NTS GET2GETHER
The first day of Cisco Live 2024 ended on a very high note. At the legendary NTS Get2gether on the Ocean Diva, which docked in the port of Amsterdam, NTS employees, partners and customers were able to exchange ideas on the exciting presentations in an atmospheric setting and – in the spirit of Cisco Live – network and connect. Around 400 guests met on the 85.5 m long ship and let the beginning of the week come to a cozy end.
We would like to thank all our customers, employees and our partner Cisco and are already looking forward to the next Cisco Live!
