But how can you manage your IT infrastructure cleverly, efficiently and securely? NTS Managed Monitor facilitates to monitor your IT infrastructure in a fast and simple way. With this service, NTS takes on all tasks concerning professional monitoring of your network, communication and data center systems.

All you need is the so-called NTS Worker that integrates itself into your network and thus represents the gateway into the private NTS Monitoring Cloud. NTS Worker can be installed as a virtual appliance under VMWare or it is available as a variant under Raspberry PI.

HOW ARE OUR DEVICES DOING TODAY? FAULT AND PERFORMANCE MONITORING KNOWS THE ANSWER!

Managed Monitor fault and performance monitor supervises the live status of your devices. It measures and aggregates specific values depending on the type of the device. NTS is developing individual tailor-made checks that will be adapted according to the different types of devices and the requirements of the customers. Managed Monitor Portal will display performance data such as CPU or interface utilization graphically over time to identify developing trends at an early stage.

DO YOU KNOW ALL THE SERIAL NUMBERS OF YOUR DEVICES IN THE NETWORK?

If not, help is on its way for you by means of the NTS Managed Monitor Basis module “Inventory”. This module periodically records the serial numbers, modules and interfaces of your devices and clearly displays this information in the Managed Monitor Portal, where is can be grouped for example according to location or according to type. Next to the technical details, you also receive an overview on service contract data such as the contract term and the SLA.

ALREADY BACKED-UP TODAY?

The module “Configuration Backup” is providing you with a daily status of your configuration and you can go back to this backup when you want to restore a device. Besides downloading the information on the backups, the Managed Monitor Portal also provides you with also the possibility to reconstruct changes over time.

 

YOUR EVENTS IN EXPERTS HANDS – RELAX, WE CARE!

As soon as the Fault Monitor identifies an event, the NTS Support and Operations Center (SOC) is pro-actively dealing and taking care of it. Experienced engineers check all events around-the-clock and then the events are, in case they are of any relevance to you, transferred into the alarm management. This approach is following a customer specific plan, whereby reaction time, operation time and contact persons are individually defined. If required, you can of course hand over the further management to NTS by means of a “Managed Service”.

 

WHAT IS BEHIND MANAGED MONITOR?

A private NTS Cloud centralizes the entire intelligence. From here, all monitoring jobs are controlled. The collecting of data takes place locally though by means of the installed worker. Depending on the customer requirements any number of workers can be installed, for example for load sharing and redundancy or to optimally monitor systems that are installed at different locations. The workers collect their jobs at the main center and transmit the results using encryption.

Then the gained information is displayed clearly in the Managed Monitor Portal.
