The NTS Data Center on the Edge is a small data center for a quick construction of an IT infrastructure that can be flexibly deployed to different fields of application, such as IoT (Internet of Things) or ROBO (remote office/branch office) applications.

The solution comes with a robust configuration and can also be used in difficult surroundings such as outdoors or on industrial shopfloors.

Edge-Data Centers enable short paths from the signal-emitting (IoT-) device to the unit that processes and analyses the data and can even makes decisions when necessary. These decisions will be used immediately which enables a just-in-time controlled process. Here, the decisive factor is a response time which is as short as possible. With the Data Center on the Edge, NTS is providing a solution for modern IT platforms. The range of services is complemented by a definite and scalable hardware stack that is based on “best of breed” components.

The decentralized micro data center is available as a monthly fixed service package in the versions SMALL, MEDIUM and LARGE.

Different solutions can be selected from predefined components for IT security, computing, storage, backup, cooling and power supply. If you wish so, you can even have an extinguishing system included as part of a comprehensive carefree package.

Extensions like, for example, scaling by several servers, NetApp AFF, data center firewall, backup or even an upgrade to the NTS Private Cloud as a Service are possible.
